Gary Neville

Mark Hughes calls him 'over-excitable', Manchester United fans say he is a brother in arm. However you might want to look at him, Gary Neville is such a big United fan he could possibly sing all the songs backwards.

Never mind his much publicized disgust for anything related to Merseyside, much less his hatred against Liverpool, Neville is a United fan through and through and he has made it known over the years.

He has tried to stir up Liverpool through the years, famously running all the way to celebrate in front of Liverpool fans after United stole a late winner in 2006. In fact, former Liverpool players have not been left off the hook, as you can see in this gallery when he tried to stir up Robbie Fowler and even head-butting Steve McManaman.

Hell, he has even argued with a United fan in the past, after a goalless draw with Middlesbrough in 2006 and getting tangled with Anton Ferdinand, brother of Neville's United team-mate Rio.

Love him or loathe him, there's no denying Neville has much been a mainstay of United's modern success alongside Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs. Enjoy.
